passed away Friday, January 30, 2015 at the age of 86.

   Bob was born in Minnesota to Adolph Thieman and Eileen Grace (Nutt) Thieman. He moved from Minnesota to Stockton, CA when he was 16 years old. Bob joined the Army in 1946 and was honorably discharged in July of 1948.

   Bob married his sweetheart Barbara Ann Price in 1950. They resided in Stockton and had three children, Kurt, Christine, and Fred. Bob attended COP, Stockton and was a 1953 graduate. In 1962 Bob and Barbara moved their family to Oakdale and Bob began working at Hunt Wesson Foods. He worked there until his retirement in 1991. After the passing of his wife Barbara, Bob was fortunate to find love once again and married Dorothy Broin in 2010.

   Bob was a Past Master and member of Escalon Masonic Lodge 591. He was also a member of Shriners AAHMES Temple, Livermore, CA.

   Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Adolph and Grace Thieman, and wife Barbara Thieman. He is survived by his sister, Shirley (Jack) Booth and his children: Kurt (Kathleen) Thieman, Christine (Jerry) Buie and Fred (Brenda) Thieman. He is also survived by nephew, Kevin (Sue) Honeychurch as well as seven Grandchildren and fifteen Great-grandchildren.

   Bob was a caring thoughtful man who loved and cherished his family and many friends.

   Services to be held, Thursday, February 5, 2015, 11:00 am at the Oakdale Memorial Chapel, 830 West F St., Oakdale, CA with graveside service following at Oakdale Citizens’ Cemetery, 701 East J St., Oakdale, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shriner’s Children’s Hospital, Northern California at www. shrinershospitals
