Phillip E. Trahan, Jr., 34, died Wednesday, Feb. 23 at his Oakdale home.

He was a native and lifelong resident of Oakdale.

Mr. Trahan was a security guard for Syn-Tech for eight years.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Emmrich of Waterford; companion, Amy Luna of Oakdale; children, William Trahan, Danielle Trahan, Makayla Trammel, all of Waterford; sister, Jody Trahan of Oakdale; brothers, Michael Trahan, Casey Trahan, both of Oakdale; parents, Evelyn Trahan of Oakdale, Phillip Trahan of Empire; and grandmother, Shirley Thomas of Empire.

A memorial service was held Feb. 28 at Oakdale Memorial Chapel.
