Nadine Lee Sparks, 73, died Monday, Dec. 27.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Raymond Sparks, Jr. of Oakdale; sons, Mark Sparks of Oakdale, Gerald ‘Jerry’ (Nerissa) Sparks of Riverbank; daughters, Debra (Ric) McGinnis, Dawn (James) Shaw of Waterford; sister, Brenda Miller of Riverbank; brother, Lonnie Breshears of Nevada; six grand children; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ira and Bertha Breshears of Riverbank; and son, Michael Sparks of Sonora.

A family gathering will take place following final arrangements.
