Michael James Hosker, 64, died Monday, Aug. 12 in Ellensburg, Wash.

He was born in Livermore and lived in Oakdale from 1958-1970. He graduated from Oakdale High School in 1968. He lived in Ellensburg, Wash. since 1979.

Mr. Hosker was a U.S. Army Ranger with the 101st Airborne and served in Vietnam.

He was a horse trainer.

He is survived by his son, Tim (Crystal) Hosker; brother, James Hosker and family; grandchildren, Rylind, NovaLynn, Alorah, Caleigha, and Mahalia.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Margaret Hosker.

A service is planned for Sept. 28 at Stewart and Williams Tribute Center, 301 East Third St., Ellensburg, Wash.
