Laura Kay Mayo, 47, died Nov. 12, 2009 after a long illness.
She was born in Oakland. She grew up in Pleasanton and graduated from Amador Valley High School. She was a resident of River Paradise Estates in Oakdale.
Ms. Mayo was a gifted and talented artist.
She is survived by her children, Benjamin Wigley of Livermore, Sadie Conaty-Mayo of Danville; parents, George and Dorothy Mayo of Pleasanton; siblings, Lou Ann (John) Perry of Redlands, Jim Mayo of Pleasanton, Ed (Tina) Mayo of Livermore, Christina (Brian) Anderson of Cottonwood; and many nieces and nephews.
A special companion to her was her care dog, Sunny.
Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 24 at Centerpointe Presbyterian Church, at the corner of Valley and Busch in Pleasanton.
