Harry Leroy Taylor, 103, died Thursday, April 1 in Iowa.

He was a native of New York and had lived in Oakdale for 30 years prior to moving to Iowa a few years ago.

Mr. Taylor served in the U.S. Army.

He had worked as a mechanical engineer for the State of Oregon.

He was a member of Oak Valley Church, Oakdale.

He is survived by his daughter, Evelyn Bradshaw of Iowa; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 8 at Oakdale Memorial Chapel Funeral with funeral services starting at 2 p.m.

Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park.
