Erna ‘Bobbie’ M. Costa, 74, of Modesto died Saturday, May 2 at Alexander Cohen Hospice House.
Mrs. Costa was a native of Valley Home. She lived in Modesto 22 years.
She was a housewife. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church and Superintendent of Sunday School at St. John’s.
She is survived by her children, Timothy Costa of Madera and Penny Regelman of Ripon; sister, Patricia Bordona of Oakdale; brothers, Warren Walter of Glendora, Terry Walter of Oregon; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Costa; son, Gene Costa, Jr.; and daughter, Tiffany Costa.
A funeral will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 6 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Valley Home. Burial will be at Valley Home Memorial Park.
