David Frank Wamack, 75, died Monday, Aug. 24 at Alexander Cohen Hospice House, Hughson.

He was a native of Oklahoma and lived in Oakdale for 43 years.

He served in the U.S. Army.

Mr. Wamack had worked as a maintenance mechanic for Norris Industries for 25 years.

He is survived by his wife, Lois Wamack of Oakdale; children, Karen Sanchez of Oakdale, Laurie Huffman of Modesto; sisters, Janet Grimsley of Oakdale, Judy Wamack of San Bernardino; brother, Douglas Wamack of South Carolina; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Diane Wamack.

Memorial services were held Aug. 29 at Oakdale Memorial Chapel.
