Betty Ann Dorroh, 88, died Wednesday, Oct. 14 due to an illness.

She was born to Clay and Alice Dorroh of Oakdale. She had two brothers, Dick and Bill Dorroh.

In high school she was active in sports and swimming was her passion. While in high school she and her friends started a Bridge Club that lasted over 50 years. After high school she attended MJC and then went to work for United California Bank. She married her husband 1947.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Harry Rosasco Pooley. Other family members include children, Louise (Larry) Sanders, William Pooley, Jane Pooley (David Torres); grandchildren, Danielle and Jon Sanders, Katie and Annie Siegfried, Bill (Jamie) Pooley; and great-grandchildren, Marcus and Nicole Pooley.

The family thanks all those who gave support and continued to visit her during her illness.

A rosary was held at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church on Oct. 19, a mass was held on Oct. 20, also at the church.
