Avert Louis Pippin of Oakdale, California died January 21, 2018 at age 75. He was born in Cookeville, Tennessee May 18, 1942. He moved to California in 1962, where he lived for the remainder of his life. Avert enjoyed hunting, fishing, and bowling. He was quick to laugh and could find humor in almost any situation.
He is survived by his wife Betty Pippin, his children Belinda Lake, Raygina Reed, Randy Pippin Sr., Terry Gordon, Shirley Day, and Tony Pippin, his grandchildren Megan Starks, Shyla Sanne, Makayla Monroe, Lauren Monroe, Randy Pippin Jr., and several great-grandchildren. At his request, no services are being held.
