Altie Mae Varner, 73, passed away on Dec. 23, 2014 at her home due to Alzheimer’s.  Altie was born in Sulphur Springs, TX and resided in Oakdale, CA for 34 years. Altie is survived by her children, Tim Varner of the Philippines, Donna Kooring of Oakdale, CA and Joe Varner of Grass Valley, CA; brother Carl Smith, Jr. of Pomona, CA; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Altie was preceded in death by her husband Robert Varner.
