With Jack Frost nipping at our noses, with sparkling Christmas lights all aglow ... it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

*****

Such a strange year it has been, along with very different holiday gatherings. We will still find ways to celebrate Christmas! The meaning of this very special season makes it even more important that we observe this day and give thanks for all we do have. We think of a clear, cold night, long ago ... a manger with a newborn baby, a promise of hope, and a bright star leading the way.

It is so hard right now to see so many suffering at Christmastime. This is a confusing and very difficult time. If we are able let’s drop off a meal to our neighbors, let’s send messages of love to those suffering, let’s send cards of hope to our folks in care homes. Let us sit and talk with our young people, even though many will not voice it out loud this is extremely hard for our young people. They overhear conversations, they are swamped with conflicting reports on television, let’s spend some time just loving them, letting them know there is hope. We are going to have great days again! May God bless each of you!

Until next time, happy Christmas trails to each of you!
