Tickets are still available for some of the Saturday evening, Oct. 3 tours at the Oakdale Citizens Cemetery, as the annual Once Upon A Tomb fundraiser takes place. The first tour, for those with mobility issues, begins at 5 p.m. and additional tours leave at 6 p.m., 6:30 p.m., 7 p.m., 7:30 p.m., 8 p.m., and 8:30 p.m. There are six stops on the tour, where attendees will learn more about significant contributors to Oakdale history, with actors portraying them and providing insights into their lives. Get tickets at Eventbrite; cost is $25 per person with an additional small service fee. All proceeds benefit the local cemetery at 701 East J Street.
