Soroptimist International of Oakdale will host a Bunco fundraiser on Tuesday, Sept. 1, to raise money for scholarships and programs benefiting local students.

The event will begin at 6 p.m. in the outdoor patio area at Medlen’s House of Beef, 201 N. Third Ave., in Oakdale.

Admission is $40 per person, with proceeds supporting the organization’s Dream Programs and scholarships for local students.

Organizers are inviting community members to spend the evening playing Bunco while supporting Soroptimist’s programs for women and girls. A door prize and additional prizes will be awarded during the event. Participants must be present to win.

House of Beef is providing the venue for the fundraiser. Attendees are encouraged to support the restaurant by purchasing beverages and appetizers during the event.

Soroptimist International is a global volunteer organization focused on improving the lives of women and girls through education and economic empowerment. Local clubs support programs designed to provide educational opportunities and resources within their communities.
