Oakdale-Riverbank Fire Calls 6-30-21

The following is a listing of some of the local calls for service involving the Modesto Fire Department, which staffs Stations 27 and 28 in Oakdale; and the Stanislaus Consolidated Fire Department, covering the Riverbank area.

Calls were logged during the time period of Tuesday, June 22 through Monday, June 28. Days not listed had no reports of significant incidents in this area.

 

 

MONDAY, JUNE 28

Weekly apparatus and equipment checks were completed.

 

SUNDAY, JUNE 27

Crews rotated through Station 5 and conducted annual refresher training on Brush and Grass apparatus.

Probationary firefighters conducted training on putting the monitor into portable status.

 

SATURDAY, JUNE 26

Fire units assisted with the Oakdale Enrichment Society 150th Birthday celebration and parade.

 

FRIDAY, JUNE 25

Annual hose testing was conducted at Station 4.

MCI training was conducted at Station 6 and Station 10.

1:30 p.m. – Engine 9 extinguished a small roadside grass fire on Milnes Road near Dewitt outside Riverbank.

 

THURSDAY, JUNE 24

Probationary firefighters continue to train and prepare for their seventh month exams.

 

TUESDAY, JUNE 22

Hose testing for Engine 29 was completed.

Probationary Firefighter training was conducted at the RFTC.
