Volunteers of all ages are encouraged to attend the next scheduled monthly cleanup of the Stanislaus River, slated for this Saturday, May 7. Hours for the cleanup are from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Volunteers will meet near the river in the Cost Less parking lot.

Those planning to attend are asked to bring gloves, boots, and energy. So far volunteers have collected over eight tons of debris in the last three months since starting the coordinated cleanup effort and hope to keep the river and the banks surrounding it clean as we head into the busy tourism-fueled summer months
