Me And My Feet Hosts Shoe Drive
Placeholder Image

Me and My Feet, an Oakdale retail and online shoe store, is hosting its first shoe drive, benefiting those in need in Stanislaus County. Shoes donated will be distributed by Oakdale’s Community Sharing and Modesto’s Church in the Park program.

Since 2006, Me and My Feet’s mission has been to reach beyond just shoe sales and help those in need. Now through Aug. 31, members of the community are encouraged to bring in new or gently used shoes. Me and My Feet has already donated hundreds of pairs of shoes to those in need. With August being one of the hottest months in the Central Valley, as well as ushering kids back to school, good protective footwear is essential. Studies show that proper footwear is essential to overall physical and mental health. The goal of the drive is to collect at least 500 pairs for those in need in the community, to help people put their best feet forward this fall.

Drop off new or gently used shoes at Me and My Feet, 1570 E. F St., Suite N, Oakdale, in the Raley’s shopping center. Donations are being accepted through Aug. 31.
