Knights Ferry News 9-16-23
Nastasia Sweet

For two weekends in a row, Knights Ferry has been without power for many hours! Like all surrounding areas, we endured a wild thunder and lightning storm on Saturday. Our town was without power from about Saturday at 2:30pm to Sunday at 5:30am! Between the booms of cracking thunder, the sound of the fire truck sirens echoed through town on their way to small fires in the area with one of them out on Old Sonora.

Jim Ramont and Barbara Findlay will play music at 3pm, followed by Owen Walker at 5pm, concluding with Weekend at Jimmy’s at 7pm. There will be tri-tip sandwiches for purchase from the Masonic Lodge and brats and pulled pork sandwiches for sale by Rick’s Saloon. This will be a great free event so invite your friends and family to enjoy a great evening!
