The Miller’s Hall ladies met to look over pictures and documents given to the club over the years while they continued to plan for their upcoming Wine and Cheese evening on October 20th. It is fantastic to see the town’s history. There will be more details in the near future but mark your calendars for a beautiful evening in the Knights Ferry Museum.

Dakota Voortman competed in her first Cross Country Meet in Vacaville representing her high school, Big Valley Christian. Great job, Dakota!

Sign up for the Orange Blossom 4-H Club at their ice cream social on Monday, September 10 at 6:30 p.m. in the Community Club. Participants do not need to own animals or live on a farm. The 4-H Club offers a broad range of activities including livestock, sewing classes, leadership, dog training and care, and public speaking. The Knights Ferry Junior High students finally received their new desks! They assembled their new desks just in time for the three-day weekend. The school celebrated two staff members’ birthdays and the PTC and room moms decorated their doors. Happy birthday, Mrs. Brockman and Mrs. Stevenot!

The Knights Ferry Community Church is hosting a BBQ on September 9th after the church service. They are providing the tri-tip and ask that families bring a side dish or dessert to share.
