Main Street Knights Ferry has been spruced up over the last few months! The Miller’s Hall, the McCarthy’s home, and the Patton’s home (The Knights Ferry Hotel) have all received a fresh coat of paint over the past few months!

Caltrans has been working Orange Blossom Road, most notably on the two sharp turns between Morrison Road and Old Sonora Road. The sections of freshly paved roads are free of holes and smooth as butter!

Most of the locals who privately raft or kayak the river, pick up garbage along the way but David Voortman arranged a date and time for a small group of locals to travel along the river with intent to pick up garbage from over the weekend. They traveled in their own kayaks and families in their own rafts from the middle of town to Horseshoe Park. It was a great way to spend the day! Thank you to all the volunteers for taking care of the river!
