The Knights Ferry History Museum will host its sixth annual “Knight at the Museum” on Saturday, October 18 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. This year’s theme is A Season of Gratitude. Our community has much to be thankful for, and we truly appreciate our many friends and neighbors who continue to support us. Wine and appetizers will be served, and a lift is available behind the Knights Ferry Creamery for those who may have difficulty with the stairs. A raffle will also be held during the evening.

The East Stanislaus Fire Safe Council will host a garbage clean-up day on Saturday, October 25 in Knights Ferry. Multiple large dumpsters will be provided at the Army Corps overflow parking lot at 18229 Sonora Road.

This event is for household and yard garbage items, including decaying firewood, combustibles (mattresses, furniture, construction materials, lawn and patio décor), appliances, etc. Not included: hazardous waste or green waste.

This event is one day only, between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., or until all dumpsters are filled. You must be able to unload your own vehicles. Cars, trucks, trailers—even dump trucks—are welcome.
