Bethany Basmajian collected pumpkins from local friends to make delicious pumpkin soup to help feed the residents of Beard Brook Park in Modesto. She cleaned, roasted, and froze the pumpkin meat and each Tuesday, she warms the bellies of the park residents with a fresh batch of pumpkin soup.

Ben Cassinetto celebrated his birthday with all the local Knights Ferry eighth grade boys. They had pizza and tested their skills in an escape room. They escaped “Detention” with two minutes to spare!

The Voortman family spent the beginning of the year in LA with family to celebrate their sister-in-law, Kelly Glidewell. She fought a long battle with cancer and finally found peace. Hugs to the Voortman family!

There are newly elected members for the Odd Fellows Stanislaus Lodge #170. Noble Grand, Jessica Paulat, Vice Grand, Shirley Watson, Secretary, Steve Lyda, and Treasurer, Fred Dolling. Jessica Paulat is the first female Noble Grand for the local lodge. Congratulations to the newly elected officers!
