There will be a community yard sale on the Odd Fellows tennis court on Sunday, October 7th, 2018 from 7am-2pm. Contact Megan Peterson at 209-606-3828 to reserve your spot. It will be a busy day in town with the Odd Fellow’s pancake breakfast!

We have a few community upcoming service dates for those interested! On September 15th, River Journey will host their end-of-the-season river cleanup community service project. River Journey rafting company will donate free day rental use of rafts and kayaks to those who are interested in cleaning up garbage. On September 22nd from 8am-12pm, the Army Corp will lead a beautification project at Orange Blossom Park. They plan to lay wild flower seeds, perform trail maintenance, and other projects provided they have enough volunteers. This is intended to be an educational and community project for all ages. They will provide all supplies including tools and the participants will receive breakfast from the Lion’s Club, lunch from House of Beef, and a day park pass for any federal park including Yosemite! Knights Ferry School has new student body leadership for the 2018-2019 school year. President River McCarthy, Vice President Charlie Birdsong, Secretary Jess Martinez, and Treasurer Deagan Sweet. Voting took place during lunch time and the winners were announced at the end of the day. Congratulations to all the winners!
