Over 2500 students at four elementary sites took to the field of their respective schools for Oakdale Joint Unified’s annual Jog-a-Thon event this past week. Each year elementary students of all grades collect sponsorships prior to the event for their jog-a- thon efforts. Funds raised by the students benefit their campus Parent Teacher Club. Each student is also given a themed T-shirt to wear that day. Here, students at Sierra View warm up with some stretches prior to getting the jog started, under the direction of TK teacher Judy Alvey.
