The Stanislaus Community Foundation Scholarship Program offers financial assistance to Stanislaus County residents pursuing studies at an accredited college, university or vocational college through 18 different scholarships. These scholarships have been established by generous donors, including individuals, families, organizations and businesses from throughout the community.

The 2017 scholarship period is open now through Thursday, March 2. To apply, visit StanislausCF.org/receive/scholarships.

Through Stanislaus Community Foundation’s online application system, eligible applicants are matched to scholarship funds, providing a central application process to simplify access for students seeking financial aid. Students qualify if they:

Are a Stanislaus County resident.

Are currently enrolled or plan to attend an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational college.

Plan to be a full-time student.

Scholarship recipients are selected on a competitive basis, considering multiple factors. Some scholarship funds target students with specific areas of interest to the scholarship donor, such as high school attended, academic/career focus or financial need.

Interested students can apply online by visiting StanislausCF.org/receive/scholarships. Only one online application form is necessary to apply for scholarships. Applicants should be sure to check the eligibility criteria for each award.

Scholarship awards range from $1,000 to $5,000. Since 2001, Stanislaus Community Foundation and its partners have awarded over $555,000 to local students.

General qualifications for all the scholarships offered through Stanislaus Community Foundation require students to be a resident of Stanislaus County or attend a high school in the county. Some scholarships have additional requirements as well, as listed.
