In celebration of a thankful season Michelle Jones’ Transitional Kindergarten class began the Friday prior to Thanksgiving break with a song by Debbie Clement, “You’re Wonderful.” The song is a positive thinking song for young people, highlighting positive attributes.

Along with enjoying the songs, the Magnolia students made bracelets telling the story of Thanksgiving using different color beads to represent each part of the story from leaving England for religious freedom to the first Thanksgiving dinner.

They also made apple turkeys with feathers created from varying fruit pieces and their own pie in a cup. It was a festive way to send the students off for the holiday break, enjoying this week off for the Thanksgiving observance.
