Friends Katelynn Gonzales, left, and Gianna Padilla, both 12, of Oakdale had already won their unique headgear at a game while attending the weekend Park Fete in neighboring Escalon, then decided to grab a frosty ice cream cone as they enjoyed the festival. Hosted on Friday and Saturday, the annual Park Fete included music, carnival rides and games, vendor booths, food trucks and more.
