Community Events Bring Rodeo Week Smiles

Wining and dining, royalty and watching the dust settle after hard competition; it was all a part of Rodeo Week 2021 in Oakdale. Though delayed until mid-August from its originally planned date in April, this year’s edition of the Oakdale Saddle Club PRCA Rodeo brought with it a number of associated events. Here are some photos from the festivities.

Oqueen
Miss Rodeo Oakdale, Karissa Rogers of Jamestown, finally received her proper coronation last Thursday night, Aug. 12. The reigning queen earned the title last year, yet the coronation was delayed due to the pandemic.
