Career Fair offered for area job seekers

Opportunity Stanislaus, in partnership with the Oakdale Chamber of Commerce and the City of Oakdale, will host the 2026 Career Fair on Thursday, Aug. 20, at the Gene Bianchi Community Center, 110 S. Second Ave., in Oakdale. It is open to residents from throughout the area.

The event is designed to connect employers representing a variety of industries with job seekers, with the goal of placing qualified applicants in new job opportunities. Among the employers scheduled to participate are Yosemite Farm Credit, Oak Valley Hospital District, Sconza Chocolates, Oakdale Joint Unified School District, BMO, VOLT Institute, Plastipak and more. Information will be available regarding career positions in health care, manufacturing, hospitality and many more fields.

Employer set up begins at 3 p.m., and the career fair on Aug. 20 will be open to the public from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Employers interested in participating may reserve a booth for a $25 registration fee, which includes one six-foot table and two chairs. Booth space is limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
