Animal Shelter Seeking Home For Loveable Stray
Dog adopt
Oakdale Animal Shelter volunteers are hoping to find a new home for Bruce, a stray that has been housed at the shelter for the past few weeks. Photo Contributed

A three-year-old Pit Bull Terrier in need of a new home, Bruce came to the animal shelter as a stray on Feb. 22 with two other dogs. The other two have since been adopted but Bruce is still waiting.

He is available for adoption at the City of Oakdale Animal Shelter. The shelter staff and volunteers absolutely adore this wonderful dog and are looking for a new owner for Bruce that will feel the same way.

Bruce is a gentle, easy going, very mellow dog who is happy to be by your side, whatever you may be doing. He is a polite leash walker and enjoys going on his daily walks. Bruce does not react at all to the cats he may pass along the way, always showing his good manners. He gets along fine with other dogs. Bruce’s adoption fee is $25 and includes his neuter, microchip and vaccinations. Come meet this perfect companion pet during open shelter hours, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

For more information about Bruce, or to check if he is still available, call the Oakdale Animal Shelter at 209-847-5625.
