Appraisal Institute Installs Michelle Patton As President

The Northern California Chapter of the Appraisal Institute recently installed its 2018 slate of officers.

Officers include President Michelle Patton, MAI, Chapman and Patton of Oakdale; Vice President Denis DeSaix, MAI, SRA, Metrocal Appraisal of Livermore; Treasurer Carole Laval, SRA, Laval and Associates of Fresno; Secretary Jeanine Kraus, MAI, SRA, Paddock Appraisal Service, Inc. of Modesto.

Immediate Past President is Gene Williams, MAI, Cushman and Wakefield, of San Jose, and there are nine directors from a variety of Bay Area cities.

Organized in 1932, the Appraisal Institute is the oldest U.S.-based professional appraisal association with nearly 19,000 valuation professionals in almost 60 countries.

The Northern California Chapter, founded in 1937, is headquartered in Walnut Creek, and is one of the largest chapters in the U.S.
