Twenty-three years ago, John and Gail Kautz created Concours d’Elegance. As farmers and vintners, they envisioned an event that would benefit young people involved in agriculture, notably 4-H Clubs, Future Farmers of America and the California State Fair Scholarship Fund. From that initial idea, the Ironstone Concours d’Elegance Foundation has raised more than $700,000 since its inception. In 2013, through the proceeds of Concours d’Elegance, a $130,000 pledge was completed to assist in the development of the Future Farmers of America State Headquarters Building in Galt, California.
