Flamenco, Spanish Music At Mistlin Gallery Concert

The Central California Art Association, CCAA, invites the public to join them on Saturday, Nov. 23 at 7 p.m. at the Mistlin Gallery for an evening of music and dance, celebrating Flamenco and the art of Andalucia. Flamenco Puro, a group assembled and led by David Chapman will take attendees on a journey through the history of Spanish music from its inception to the current Tablao and the celebrated Concierto de Araniuez.

Dr. David Chapman is the Director of Guitar Studies and Department Chair at Stanislaus State University in Turlock. He is a Fulbright scholar and a master on classical and Flamenco guitars. He will be joined in this program by his wife, Karolina Syrovatkova, a well-known international pianist, and by Bianca Rodriquez (dance), Albert Marques (guitar) and John Martin (percussion).

Ticket costs are: VIP $50 ($40 for CCAA members); General Admission $30; Students $20 Tickets are available at mistlingallery.eventbrite.com and in person at Mistlin Gallery, 1015 J St., Modesto. All tickets include champagne and desserts.
