Jeffrey Ryan Paneda and Jodie Lynn Leal have announced their plans to wed on August 15, 2009.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Joseph Leal and Tina Heuvel. She is a 2005 graduate of Oakdale High School. She also attended Modesto Junior College and received her Bachelor’s Degree from University of Sacramento in 2009. She was a cross country and track and field athlete at both MJC and Sac State. Her siblings are Nicole, Codee, Whitnie, Kelsie and Shelby.

The prospective groom is the son of Sonny Paneda and Daisy Whitaker. He is a 2003 graduate of Manteca High School. He also attended Modesto Junior College and earned a Bachelor’s Degree from University of Sacramento in 2008. His siblings are brothers Elton, Justin, Mikey, Opher and Jim, sisters Lesette, Aki and Kathleen.

The couple announced their plans to wed in April of 2009, with the future bridegroom asking his prospective in-laws for their daughter’s hand in marriage.
