Juan C. Ramirez and Rita Garcia of Oakdale welcomed the arrival of their daughter, Karla Paola Ramirez-Garcia on Aug. 30, 2011. The newborn weighed eight pounds, 11 ounces upon arrival at Oak Valley Hospital.
Maria Garcia of Oakdale is the maternal grandmother.
Manuel Ramirez of Jalisco, Mexico and Maria de Jesus Escobedo of Guadalajara are the paternal grandparents.
