A girl, Georgia Elaine Olson, was born Oct. 3, 2011 to expectant parents Randy and Shanalie Olson of Escalon. The newborn weighed four pounds, one ounce upon arrival at Kaiser Medical Center, Modesto.
The mother is the former Shanalie Champoux.
Shane Champoux of Sacramento and Natalie Champoux of Montana are the maternal grandparents.
Sherry Boyd of Manteca and the late Steven Olson are paternal grandparents.
