A girl, Shannel Camacho Garcia, was born May 5, 2009 to expectant parents Guillermo and Erika Camacho of Oakdale. The newborn weighed seven pounds, eight ounces upon arrival at Oak Valley Hospital.
Welcoming the newcomer home were older siblings Jasline and Edgar.
Jose Garcia of Riverbank and Leticia Diaz of Oakdale are the maternal grandparents.
Benito and Guadalupe Camacho of Oakdale are paternal grandparents.
