A boy, Cordell James Reeves, was born Sept. 8, 2011 to expectant parents Benjamin and Kimberly Reeves of Riverbank. The newborn weighed seven pounds, 10 ounces upon arrival at Oak Valley Hospital.
The mother is the former Kimberly Compton.
Welcoming the newcomer home were older siblings Connor, Madison and Colton.
Rodney and Yvonne Compton of Oakdale are the maternal grandparents.
Brian and Pamela Reeves of Oakdale and John and Linda Kuipers of Patterson are the paternal grandparents.
