A boy, Carter Ace Garibay, was born at Oak Valley Hospital on May 26, 2013 to expectant parents Christopher J. Garibay and Amber Vanbuskirk of Oakdale. The newborn weighed in at six pounds, three ounces on arrival.

The new baby’s siblings are Derrick, Merriya and Quentin.

Maternal grandparents are Mike Vanbuskirk and Holly Haney of San Jose and paternal grandparents are Victor Garibay and Betty Garibay of Merced.
