A girl, Alayna Arlene Avery, was born Aug. 20, 2011 to expectant parents Scott and Angelica Avery of Riverbank. The newborn weighed seven pounds, three ounces upon arrival at Memorial Hospital.
The mother is the former Angelica Dinyar.
Welcoming the newcomer home was older sister Analysa Angelica Raquel Avery.
Steve Dinyar of Las Vegas, Nevada and Raquel Arcia of Hayward are the maternal grandparents.
Ted Avery of Tucson, Arizona and Arlene Avery of Oakdale are paternal grandparents.
