A girl, Abigail Ann Avant was born April 27, 2011 to expectant parents Ryan and Cecelia Avant. The newborn weighed five pounds, 11 ounces upon arrival at Memorial Medical Center.

The mother is the former Cecelia Banks.

Leroy and Carol Avant of Oakdale are paternal grandparents. Dorothy Rowland of Oakdale is the paternal great-grandmother.
