Youth Soccer Season Around The Corner
SOCCER

The much-anticipated start to the Oakdale Soccer Club youth soccer season is fast approaching, with games slated to begin on Sept. 11. With the date set, they plan on honoring the memory of those lost on Sept. 11, 2001 – 20 years ago – and the meaning behind the day.

Kona Ice and Sips are scheduled to be on hand for opening day for refreshments.

However, before the season opener, the league is still in need of a few things. They are looking for silent auction items, coaches, sponsors, referees and other volunteers are appreciated as well.

The league is estimated to have 84 teams and 740 players, the largest since the league began in 2017. If you are interested in volunteering or donating, contact the club via Facebook at Oakdale Soccer Club or visit their website at www.oakdalesoccerclub.com.

Oakdale Soccer Club is a non-profit organization.
