The 2020 Oakdale Baseball Softball Association (OBSA) season was cancelled this year but the hope is for the youth organization to get back on the ball diamonds for a 2021 season. Tuesday, Sept. 8 at 7 p.m. the organization will host an open meeting to discuss the upcoming season. The meeting will be held at the Gene Bianchi Community Center, 110 S. Second Ave., Oakdale.

Topics will include the 2020 fiscal year, board nominations and voting for open positions for the 2021 season. These topics are just a few of the discussion points. Positions available, among others, include league president and secretary.

Social distancing will be practiced at the meeting. Seating is limited and masks are required.

For more information on the meeting and everything OBSA related, log on to their website at www.oakdalebsa.com or follow them on Facebook under Oakdale Baseball Softball Association.
