This late in the year, only the best high school football teams are still playing games. Oakdale saw some serious talent from Benicia during a quarterfinal showdown on Nov. 16.

With Benicia displaying some serious talent at the quarterback position, Oakdale relied on huge plays from senior defensive back Nik Garza to take an advantage. Garza intercepted two passes and made a big tackle for a loss in what was ultimately a 35-12 Mustang win over the Panthers.
