Rodeo fans filled the arena at the Oakdale Rodeo Grounds for the 59th annual Oakdale Ten Steer Team Roping. Three days of team roping action took place from Friday, Aug. 29 through Sunday evening, Aug. 31.
The event was put on by the California Team Roping Association (CTRA). With 110 teams competing in the All Girls event, 270 teams competing in the Stadtler Memorial, 64 teams in the Century, 37 teams in the first go round for the opener, and numerous pairings for both the 5.5 and 8.5 steer competitions, team roping fans were in for a Labor Day weekend treat.
