It’s time again for the Impact Volleyball Club (IVC) to gear up for its Club Season, which runs November 2009 through July, 2010 and is open to players ages 8 to 18.

Sunday, Nov. 1 is a parent information meeting at 3 p.m. at the Escalon High School gym. All parents of interested players (new and returning) must attend the meeting. There will be new information and a time to meet and ask questions of board members and coaches.

Sunday, Nov. 8 will be tryouts, also in the gym. A parent or legal guardian must be present throughout the tryouts and players need to bring a $10 tryout fee and their social security number.

Tryout times are 8:30 a.m. for 17s (born on or after Sept. 1, 1992) and 18s (born on or after Sept. 1 1991); 10:30 a.m. for 16s (on or after Sept. 1, 1993) and 15s (on or after Sept. 1, 1994); 12:30 p.m. for 14s (on or after Sept. 1, 1995) and 13s (on or after Sept. 1, 1996) and 2:30 p.m. for the 12s (born on or after Sept. 1, 1997).

There will be a team meeting on Nov. 11 at the Dent Elementary School cafeteria, with the 12s and 14s meeting from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and the 16s and 18s from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

First payment and all paperwork will be due at that time.
