Continuing their recent run of dominance, the Oakdale girls golf team recently won the Valley Oak League championship for the fourth time in a row.
The girls have also been undefeated in VOL play for the past four years, sweeping matches against all their opponents.
In action at the championship, Oakdale carded the team low score of 443, 18 strokes better than second place East Union, which came in at 451.
For Oakdale, scores were: Madi Blanc 82, Tori Blanc 85, Andrea York 88, Kaylie Parola 88, Shaelyn Hanrahan 90, Makayla Christiansen 92.
Taking third place was Kimball at 533, followed by Manteca, 540; and Central Catholic, 676. Weston Ranch and Sierra did not have enough players to register a team score.
Seniors on the Oakdale team are York, Madi Blanc and Christiansen, with underclassmen including junior Hanrahan, sophomore Tori Blanc and freshman Parola.
