Junior Rodeo Action In Cowboy Capital

Two days of rodeo action returns to The Cowboy Capital of the World this weekend as the Oakdale Saddle Club Jr. Rodeo takes place Aug. 18 and 19 at the Oakdale Rodeo Grounds. Events scheduled include barrel racing, senior and junior chute dogging, tie down roping, calf riding, bull riding, steer riding, bareback riding, team roping, breakaway roping and more.

This is a Northern California Junior Rodeo Association event and fundraiser. Rodeo action begins at 7 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 18 and will feature rodeo participants as young as three years old. This will include talent from Oakdale, local competitors as well as other standouts in Northern California.
