Due to COVID-19 the Oakdale High School Sports Boosters Club has had to make several changes to their annual dinner and auction fundraiser. The original plan was to have the event this past spring, but since that in-person event has been cancelled for the year, the club is offering up something else in its place. Boosters President Antoinette Rodin and the club have moved forward with a new event.
Friday night, Aug. 21 the club will host a Drive-Thru Tri-Tip Meal fundraiser from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the gate. Meals include a tri-tip sandwich, fruit cup, chips and dessert. The event is being hosted at Oakdale High School and drivers are instructed to drive behind the visitor’s side of the football field on J Street. All proceeds go directly back to the Oakdale High School Sports Boosters Club.
OHS Boosters are a volunteer non-profit organization whose mission is to encourage, promote and support all athletics teams at OHS. For more information or for ticket purchase, contact Rodin at (209) 872-2001.
