Dear Editor,

I was in Oakdale on Sunday (March 6) to see “Fiddler on the Roof” presented by the Oakdale High School Drama Club. Bravo to the director Mr. Mills, his outstanding cast and crew! I was delighted and encouraged to see so many young people of all ages involved in this musical!

I was told the entire play with intermission would run three hours and I thought that seemed like a long time. I never noticed the time because the musical was full of fantastic musical numbers, lively dialogue and great acting!

I really appreciated the sets, use of props and how the cast worked so well on a relatively small stage. I felt like I was watching a Sierra Repertory musical! The caliber of talent was amazing with the main characters absolutely pulling me into the scene.

I appreciated all the dancing scenes and in general the hard work put into this musical. The hard work paid off, Oakdale High … you should be very proud! Bravo!
